Izraelská armáda uvedla, že při leteckém úderu zničila na severu Pásma Gazy dům vůdce teroristického hnutí Hamás Ismáíla Haníji, který trvale žije v Kataru. Podle armády byl objekt využíván jako místo schůzek vysokých představitelů islamistického hnutí.
Izraelští vojáci při razii v uprchlickém táboře Šatí poblíž města Gaza, kde Haníjův dům stál, objevili a zničili velké množství zbraní, napsal deník Ha'arec.
Hamás podle serveru The Times of Israel už před oznámením izraelské armády uvedl, že letectvo zasáhlo dva domy, které patřily Haníjovi a jeho rodině. Ty stojí v táboře Šatí, který je Haníjovým rodištěm.
Při pozemní operaci v uprchlickém táboře ležícím u pobřeží Středozemního moře izraelští vojáci z pozemních jednotek objevili velké množství zbraní a vybavení, které podle armády patřily námořním silám Hamásu. Kromě střelných zbraní a výbušnin byla nalezena i potápěčská výstroj, uvedly izraelské ozbrojené síly podle agentur.
Ve válečné situaci není možné tvrzení znepřátelených stran bezprostředněnezávisle ověřit.
Isreals army declared that it destroyed in an airstrike in the Northern Gaza Strip the home of terrorist movement Hamas’ leader Ismáíla Haníji, who lives permenantly in Qatar. According to the army the building was used as a meeting place of high-ranking representatives in the Islamic movement.
Israel’s soldiers in a raid in a refufgee camp Sati close to the city of Gaza, where Hanuj’s house is located, discovered and destroyed a large number weapons, wrote the daily paper Ha’arez.
Accodring to the Times of Isreal’s website, Hamas already announced before the isreali army proclaimed that the airforce had struck two homes, which belonged to Hanij and his family. They are located in the camp Sati, which is Hanji’s birthplace.
In a ground operation in the refugee camp located on the banks of the Mediterranean Sea the Isreali soldiers from the land unit discovered large collection of arms and equipment, which according to the army, belonged to the Naval forces of Hamas. Except for the guns and explosievs there was even found scubadiving equipment, said israeli arms strength according to the the agencies.
In a war situation it isn’t possible to immediately verify the claims of hostile parties.
