STEP THREE: Know your price range
Many flats are listed online by the monthly rent, and elsewhere on the ad, it will list additional utilities and building maintenance fees separately. Be sure you know the total price and what it includes so you’re not hit with extra fees later.
The going rate for a furnished room in a shared flat in Prague Districts 1-10 (utilities included) is approximately 9,000 Kč - 13,000 Kč per room. Studios will run 13,000 Kč - 17,000 Kč.
Prague 1, 2 & 6 are the most expensive, with more affordable places in Prague 3, 4, 5, 7, 9, 10.
You will be expected to pay 1-2 months rent as a security deposit.
If you go through a realtor (see Step 4), you will likely pay 1 months rent as their fee.
